Our top pick of course, are Mette is Baking Traditional Nordic Crackers. Handcrafted to perfection with a delicious light, crisp texture, our Nordic crackers are the perfect bite-sized portion for your favourite cheese, dip or spread. Bursting with flavour and a wholesome mix of super seeds, not only are our crackers highly nutritious, we think their sturdy composition makes them the perfect accompaniment as they hold up well with both soft and hard cheeses.

Mette’s pairing suggestion: your favourite soft, creamy cheese with a small slice of prosciutto and a drizzle of honey.

2. Mette is Baking Gluten-Free Nordic Crackers

For those looking for a gluten-free option, we can’t go past Mette is Baking’s Gluten-Free Nordic Crackers, which are equally delicious as our Traditional variety. Featuring the same mix of super seeds including Linseeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Sunflower Seeds and Sesame Seeds, our gluten-free crackers are packed full of dietary fibre and are also rich in essential vitamins and minerals, without compromising on taste.

Mette’s pairing suggestion: cream cheese, smoked salmon and a sprinkle of Mette is Baking’s Viking Herbs Dip Mix.

3. Water Crackers

Offering simplicity and versatility, water crackers are a light and crisp option and have become a staple for any cheese board, grazing platter or charcuterie board. Their neutral flavour pairs well with a wide variety of toppings including spicy dips to sharp cheeses and everything in between.

Mette’s pairing suggestion: your favourite aged cheddar.

4. Sea Salt Crackers

Simple, yet classic - the lightly salted surface of a sea salt cracker helps enhance the flavours of cheese and other toppings. A perfect match for creamy cheeses, smoked meats and bright, tangy accompaniments such as olives or pickles.

Mette’s pairing suggestion: goats cheese topped with crushed walnuts and a drizzle of honey.

5. Parmesan Cheese Crackers

Adding a robust, cheesy depth - Parmesan Cheese Crackers have a crisp texture and a flavour profile that is both sharp and nutty. A full-bodied cracker that can enhance the flavours of other cheeses, cold meats and dips, this cracker has a savoury, almost buttery quality.

Mette’s pairing suggestion: olive tapenade, crumbled feta and half a cherry tomato.

6. Rosemary and Olive Oil Crostini

Although not technically a cracker, crostini means ‘little toasts’ in Italian and are thin slices of bread that are lightly toasted until golden. Traditionally made from a baguette, crostini are slightly chewy with a delectable crunch and the best part - they can easily be made at home! Simply slice a baguette into thin rounds, lay each piece onto a lined baking tray and brush each piece with olive oil and sprinkle over dried rosemary leaves and sea salt. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes or until crisp and golden. Allow to cool on a wire rack and store in an air tight container until ready to serve.

Mette’s pairing suggestion: baked brie with fig jam.

7. Sesame Crackers

Sesame Crackers are thin and delicate with a nutty flavour. Their crispy texture offers a satisfying crunch and are so versatile, they can be paired with almost any cold meats, cheeses, dips and spreads.

Mette’s pairing suggestion: hummus with sliced cucumber and a sprinkle of Mette is Baking’s Scandi Summer Dip Mix.

8. Rice Crackers

These unassuming crackers are light and crispy and are well known for their airy texture and mild flavour. Originating from East Asia, rice crackers are often made with rice flour or whole rice grains - making them a good gluten-free option. Available in a variety of flavours, our favourite is the lightly salted.

Mette’s pairing suggestion: creamy avocado topped with cherry tomato slices and fresh basil.

9. Wafer Crackers

Wafer Crackers are a thin, delicate cracker that offers a subtle crunch and melt in your mouth flavour. Their light texture pairs best with soft, creamy cheeses and mild spreads. Wafer Crackers are available in a variety of flavours including natural, sesame and black pepper.

Mette’s pairing suggestion: triple cream brie.

10. Cheese Crackers

Savoury, crunchy Cheese Crackers have a distinct cheesy flavour with a sharp, bold taste - these crackers can be enjoyed on their own or served as a great base for various toppings.
